NEMA 17 stepper motors are used in almost all the Reprap 3D Printers.
This 40mm motor is ideal to drive the Z axis of a Raprap 3D printer as well as a extruder with a high gear ration like the Wade’s Extruder.
This is a high torque, bi-polar, 4-wire stepper motor and comes with pig tail leads.
NEMA 17 is a hybrid stepping motor with a 1.8° step angle (200 steps/revolution). Each phase draws 1.2 A at 4 V, allowing for a holding torque of 3.2 kg-cm.
